Whole-person care that restores your body, nervous system, and the way you live back into rhythm.
How Care Helps You
You know when something feels off. Pain lingers. Movement becomes restricted. Performance declines. Energy fades. Your body no longer feels like it's working with you.
At Vital Alignments, alignment means your body, nervous system, movement, and lifestyle working together as one integrated system. Rather than chasing symptoms alone, we identify what's disrupting that harmony so you can restore function, build resilience, and move forward with confidence.
See how we work togetherOur guiding principle
Ola Pono means living in right relationship — with yourself, with others, and with the world around you. It is a philosophy of living with integrity, balance, and intention so that your health, your actions, and your purpose move in the same direction.
That philosophy shapes every assessment, every recommendation, and every session at Vital Alignments.
Move well. Feel well. Perform well. Live well.
Whatever brings you in, care here is designed to help you:
The Care Journey
Every person begins with an Initial Alignment Assessment. During that visit, Dr. Imada takes time to understand your history, assess how your body is functioning, identify what may be driving your symptoms, and recommend the next step that is most appropriate for your goals. Care is not one-size-fits-all — the process is designed to help you understand, restore, build, and sustain your health over time.
Everyone starts here.
This first visit is designed to understand the full picture: your history, symptoms, movement, neurological function, and what your body may be adapting to. By the end of your first visit, you should have more clarity on what is happening, what may be contributing to it, where we are starting, and what I recommend next.
Once we understand what's happening, we begin restoring function.
This may include chiropractic care, AMIT, movement strategies, soft tissue work, nasal specific work, lifestyle recommendations, or other tools depending on what your body needs. The goal is not simply to reduce pain, but to improve your body's capacity to adapt, recover, and function more effectively.
We don't assume. We reassess.
As your body changes, we evaluate what is improving, what still needs attention, and whether the current plan is working. Sometimes continued clinical care is enough. Sometimes a deeper assessment is appropriate.
For those who want a deeper understanding of their body.
The Vital Alignments Blueprint is a comprehensive biomechanical and lifestyle assessment that helps identify posture, movement, strength, mobility, breathing, recovery, lifestyle, and performance factors. Not everyone needs this right away. It may be recommended after clinical care begins, or requested by someone who wants a deeper roadmap.
A trusted partnership, not endless treatment.
The goal is helping people understand their body, restore function, build resilience, and continue living well. Some people check in regularly. Some come seasonally. Some return when life, training, travel, or injury creates new demands.
Every journey begins with understanding. From there, Dr. Imada helps guide you toward the care that fits your body, your goals, and your life.

Inside Your Care
No two people are exactly alike, so no two treatment plans should be either. Rather than relying on a single technique, Dr. Imada draws from a range of assessment and treatment approaches to help restore function, improve your body's ability to adapt, and build long-term resilience. Every recommendation is personalized to your body, your goals, and where you are today.
Improve the way your body communicates and adapts.
Hands-on care that restores healthy motion to the spine and joints, helping reduce mechanical interference so your nervous system can communicate more efficiently and your body can better adapt to the demands of everyday life.
Restore stability and confidence in movement.
A comprehensive neuromuscular assessment and treatment system that identifies neurologically inhibited muscles and helps reactivate the pathways needed to restore stability, coordination, and confident movement.
Build strength through better movement.
A movement system that strengthens the posterior chain, improves posture, creates decompression throughout the body, and teaches you to move as one integrated unit.
Support breathing, balance, and nervous system regulation.
A specialized cranial and airway-focused technique that may improve breathing, cranial mobility, and nervous system regulation, helping your body return to a more balanced and adaptable state when clinically appropriate.
Support healing beyond the treatment table.
Sleep, nutrition, stress, breathing, hydration, movement, and recovery all influence how well your body adapts. Together, we identify the habits that support lasting health and performance.
Assess. Understand. Build a plan.
A comprehensive biomechanical and lifestyle assessment that identifies movement patterns, structural imbalances, and lifestyle factors so we can build a personalized roadmap for long-term health, resilience, and performance.
No single technique has all the answers. These are not separate services to choose from — they are tools available within your care. Every recommendation is based on what your body needs, with one goal in mind: improving your body's capacity to adapt, recover, and thrive.

Meet Dr. Brandon Kanoa Imada
I grew up in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, where life revolved around the ocean, movement, family, and community. Surfing, skating, hiking, and spending time outdoors taught me that health isn't measured only by the absence of pain — it is measured by the freedom to fully participate in the life you love. That belief eventually became the foundation of Vital Alignments.
As a Doctor of Chiropractic, I graduated from Life Chiropractic College West before completing a 3½-year post-doctorate fellowship under Dr. Craig Buhler in Utah. During that time I had the privilege of working alongside professional and Olympic athletes from around the world, helping people recover from injury, improve performance, and return to doing what they love.
But over time, I realized something. The question that fascinated me was not simply, “How do I get someone out of pain?” It became, “Why is their body adapting this way in the first place?” That question has shaped everything I have studied since.
I continued my education through Advanced Muscle Integration Technique (AMIT), the CHEK Institute, Foundation Training, Nasal Specific Technique, and other disciplines — not because I wanted more certifications, but because each one offered another piece of the puzzle. Every patient reinforced the same lesson: the body cannot be understood by looking at one joint, one muscle, or one symptom in isolation. The body works as one integrated system.
Today, Vital Alignments brings those experiences together. Every assessment, every treatment, and every recommendation is designed to understand how your body is functioning as a whole, restore what is not working well, and help you build lasting resilience so you are less limited by pain and more capable of living the life that is meaningful to you.
Whether you are recovering from an injury, preparing for your next competition, or simply trying to keep doing the things you love with the people you love, my goal is the same: help you understand your body, restore its ability to adapt, and give you the tools to thrive long after you leave the treatment room.
My middle name, Kanoa, means “the free one.” I’ve always felt called to live up to that name — not only by pursuing my own potential, but by helping others reclaim the freedom to move well, feel well, and live well.
Getting Started
Every person who begins care at Vital Alignments starts with an Initial Alignment Assessment. This first visit is designed to understand your history, assess how your body is functioning, identify what may be contributing to your symptoms, and create a clear plan for moving forward.
From there, your care becomes personalized. Some people continue with focused clinical care to restore function and maintain progress. Others may eventually benefit from the Vital Alignments Blueprint — a more comprehensive assessment and planning process designed for those who want a deeper understanding of their body and a personalized roadmap for long-term health and performance.
Wherever you're starting, my role is the same: to understand your body, recommend what I genuinely believe will help you most, and guide you toward lasting health, resilience, and the freedom to keep doing what you love.
Every new patient begins here. Your first visit is designed to understand the full picture. We review your history, assess how your body is functioning, begin hands-on care, and create clear recommendations for your next step.
This visit may include
Follow-up visits are personalized based on your progress, goals, and current needs.
Focused care for acute concerns, tune-ups, maintenance, and targeted treatment.
More comprehensive care for complex cases, multiple regions, deeper restoration, or longer treatment sessions.
The Vital Alignments Blueprint is my most comprehensive assessment and planning process. It is designed for individuals who want a deeper understanding of how their body functions and a personalized roadmap for long-term health, resilience, and performance. Unlike a standard treatment visit, the Blueprint combines detailed assessment, clinical reasoning, and personalized planning to identify the factors that may be limiting your movement, recovery, or performance.
Depending on your goals, the Blueprint may include
The outcome of the Blueprint is not simply more information. The goal is to give you a clear understanding of how your body is functioning today, what is contributing to your current challenges, and a practical roadmap for improving your health, movement, resilience, and performance over the long term. It's available by recommendation or request — sometimes most valuable after we've begun working together, sometimes sought from the very beginning by those who want the most comprehensive understanding possible.

There are people who help relieve pain. Then there are people who help you remember who you were before the pain. That’s what Dr. Brandon has been for me. After a traumatic surfing accident six years ago, I had struggled to get back in the water. I didn’t realize how much fear my body had been carrying until adjustment after adjustment, a few balloons in my nose later… I noticed I wasn’t just feeling better… I actually wanted to surf again. From over 16 sessions in the last year, his consistent care didn’t just help me move better…it helped me trust my body again. One session I’ll never forget was my first Nasal balloon treatment. It felt like he had reached down with a helping hand and lifted me up without me realizing how long I’d been lying there. If you’ve been living with recurring injuries like me, given up on solutions to your pains, or simply don’t feel like yourself anymore, I encourage you to give Dr. Brandon’s approach a chance. He takes the time to listen, and is a kind, genuine soul the world needs more of Because of his muscle testing and adjustments, I found my way back surfing, creating and feeling joy again. Thank you Dr Brandon!!
